Detroit Red Wings’ Dylan Larkin’s ranking was revealed in the most ‘punchable face’ award by The Athletic.

It’s surprising, but the captain of the Detroit Red Wings has landed on the ‘most punchable‘ face list.

The list generally consists of players who antagonize others and are “rats.” Names like Nick Cousins, Brad Marchand, Matthew Tkachuk, and Garnet Hathaway populate the list.

While others like Joel Eriksson-Ek, Sam Bennett, and Nikita Zadorov have found their way here.

This is a poll that is sent to NHL players by The Athletic, so this is the feedback of the players themselves.

Larkin was voted by 1.9% out of the 107 responses, sitting just below the Montreal Canadiens’ Brendan Gallagher. Larkin came in at 9th on the most ‘punchable face’ list, and following him? Michael Bunting, Nikita Zadorov, Tim Stutzle, and Trevor Zegras.

Coming in at 1st is Nick Cousins, who earned 24.3% of all votes and plays for the Ottawa Senators, another division rival.

Followed by Brad Marchand, another rat who is now a roster member of a fallen dynasty, the Florida Panthers.

His face remains the 2nd-most punchable according to polling, with 19.6% of the vote.

All in all, the poll where the players you expected the most to land on top, did.

Thanks to the help of the 9th most punchable face in the league, Dylan Larkin, the team is 1st in the Atlantic Division. with a record of 16-11-3 in one of the most competitive divisions in the East.

Larkin leads the team in goals with 16 and has scored 32 points this season as the Red Wings’ top center.
