Although loved by Leafs Nation, one Maple Leafs forward may be on his way out of Toronto, despite having multiple years left on his current contract.

His discipline issues, coupled with his lack of production in the regular season and post-season, have reportedly left Leafs management very unhappy.

According to reporter James Mirtle, who was on ‘The JD Bunkis’ podcast earlier this week, the Leafs are hesitant to bring the former first-round pick back next season, despite having another 3 years left on his 4-year deal.

It’s not just his lack of offensive production that has brought Domi’s future with the Leafs into question, but it is his poor defensive play as well. Had he improved his defensive play at the very least, management would have seen some growth in that aspect and may be less annoyed with his poor offensive performance and discipline issues.

With Game 6 set for Friday night, it may be the last time we see Domi in the blue and white.
