The Calgary Flames are expected to be among the NHL’s top sellers this season. One player who has been a popular name throughout this season because of it is forward Blake Coleman.
Due to this, let’s take a look at three teams that could look to acquire Coleman this season.Â
Dallas StarsÂ
The Stars could make a lot of sense as a landing spot for Coleman. When looking at their group, it is fair to argue that they would benefit by adding another middle-six forward. Acquiring Coleman would provide them just that, and it also doesn’t hurt that he is from Plano, Texas.Â
New Jersey DevilsÂ
A reunion between the Devils and Coleman could be something to watch. The Devils could use another solid two-way forward who plays with an edge, and bringing back Coleman would provide them with just that.Â
Colorado AvalancheÂ
Things are going tremendously this season for the Avalanche, and it would not be surprising in the slightest if they look to add at the deadline because of it. Acquiring a player like Coleman would make their top nine even better.Â
