The St. Louis Blues are heading into a big stretch of games, starting with the Nashville Predators on Thursday night in Tennessee. This team has established itself as road warriors, with their road record being much better than that at the Enterprise Center.

Here are the three players to watch for in this big tilt with the bottom two teams in the Central Division.

Robby Fabbri

After Dillon Dube was signed on for a Professional Tryout with the AHL squad, Springfield, the Blues made one more move on Wednesday to help fill in the gaps. Robby Fabri has re-joined the Blues on a two-way deal for the rest of this season, as Jordan Kyrou, Jimmy Snuggerud, Alexey Toropchenko, and Nathan Walker still heal from their injuries.

Head coach Jim Montgomery made it clear that Fabri would be pushed right into the thick of things, as he will play against Nashville just one day after signing. Let’s see if he can bring back some of the magic he had when he was with this franchise from 2015 through 2019.

Robert Thomas

After a two-goal night against Boston in that 5-2 losing effort, Robert Thomas has to try and replicate that performance against Nashville. This team is without its best goal-scorers, meaning that No. 18 must step up and take over the playmaking and sniping duties.

Thomas leads the Blues with 20 points on the season, scoring six goals and adding 14 assists in 27 games. Can he light the lamp just once more from the last game, completing his first career hat-trick?

Jake Neighbours

It is evident that Jake Nieghbours is not as effective as he was at the beginning of the season. Partially due to injury, he has not been able to replicate the same kind of contribution since coming back. In the 11 games since coming back, he has just two goals and three assists for five points.

Can Neighbours get on a roll once more against a horrific Nashville defensive core?
