COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — The captain is back in the union blue.
The Blue Jackets announced on Thursday that they have activated center Boone Jenner from Injured Reserve and assigned forward Luca Del Bel Belluz to the Cleveland Monsters.
Jenner, 32, has missed the last 14 games with an upper body injury suffered at Seattle on November 11. The club’s franchise leader in games played will return to the lineup tonight when the Jackers host the Ottawa Senators at Nationwide Arena.
Jenner is projected to play right wing tonight alongside Adam Fantilli and Kent Johnson on the team’s second line.
