BREEZY POINT — Parker Fulton scored a hat trick and dished an assist as the Class 1A’s 16th-ranked Northern Lakes Lightning beat the Thief River Falls Prowlers 7-2 Thursday, Dec. 11.

The Prowlers scored two first-period goals to have a 2-0 advantage. Fulton scored his first goal in the first period.

Kyler Rikala dished three assists while Hucky Balmer and Bodie Nybakken recorded two assists apiece.

Waylon Katterhagen, Lucas Martin, Josiah Reier and Garrey Furry added goals for the Lightning.

Northern Lakes’ Sam Suja finished with 14 saves.

SAUK RAPIDS — Collin Wilmes scored a goal 11 seconds into the first period but the Little Falls Flyers fell 3-2 to the Sauk Rapids Storm in a non-conference Thursday, Dec. 11.

Remi Chisholm assisted on Wilmes’ first-period goal. Liam Thoma added an unassisted goal in the second period.

Izaak Kalis finished with 31 saves for the Flyers.
