LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Vegas Golden Knights are switching spots on the FM dial midseason.

The team announced that 94.7 FM will become its new radio home starting on Thursday, Dec. 18.

Switching to 94.7 will bring increased signal strength, according to the team, including an HD signal, which will expand coverage around the Las Vegas area. The broadcast will also be available on KOMP 92.3 HD2.

It’s a change from 98.9 FM, which has been the Golden Knights’ radio home since the team began play in 2017. Both stations are owned by Lotus Broadcasting.

94.7 has previously featured HANK-FM country music. HANK-FM will move to 98.9 effective Dec. 18.
