The NHL and the Bruins unveiled their jerseys for the 2026 Stadium Series game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, and as you can see from the photo above, they are very, very gold.

The B’s will pair those gold jerseys with gold, white, and black socks to complete the look.

From a press release from the team, the inspirations behind the jersey include:

Tampa went with a double-blue motif, a jersey that doesn’t look as bad as original leaks portrayed.

If you click to enlarge some of those Tampa photos, there are a lot of nice details in the jersey: the pirate-themed skull on the shoulder and the arm bands, the lightning-filled sky in the numbers, etc.

“TBL” still strikes me as a weird choice for the crest, but whatever.

With both teams sporting full-color jerseys, this is going to be one vivid hockey game.

Here’s a side-by-side view of the two jerseys, provided by Fanatics:

The Stadium Series game will be held at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium, home of the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, on February 1.

Per the B’s, this jersey will be available for purchase at both the brick-and-mortar and online Pro Shops on Monday, December 15.
