The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced today the club signed forward Cross Hanas to a standard player contract for the rest of the 2025-26 season.
Hanas, 23, started the season on a professional tryout and had six points (2-4–6) in 15 games with the Stars. The forward scored a goal on opening weekend Oct. 11 against Grand Rapids, his old team. Hanas spent the first three seasons of his pro career with the Griffins from 2022-25, totaling 50 points (26-24–50) in 146 games.
The Dallas, Texas native was originally selected by Detroit in the second round (55th overall) of the 2020 NHL Draft.
