The Vancouver Canucks made a pair of roster moves on Sunday, as the team placed forward Elias Pettersson on Injured Reserve and activated forward Marco Rossi from Injured Reserve.
General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that F Elias Pettersson has been placed on IR (retroactive to Dec. 5) and F Marco Rossi has been activated from IR.

Pettersson’s placement on IR was made retroactive to Dec. 5.
Pettersson, 27, has eight goals and 22 points in 28 games this season. He played the entirety of the team’s 4-1 loss to the Utah Mammoth on Dec. 5, but has been out of the lineup since.
TSN’s Farhan Lalji reported earlier this week that Pettersson had an MRI to examine the severity of the injury, and that the MRI did not reveal any significant issues.
Rossi, 24, has four goals in 17 games this season with the Minnesota Wild. He was one of three players acquired in the megadeal Friday that sent Canucks captain and superstar defenceman Quinn Hughes to Minnesota.
The fifth-year player has been out since Nov. 11 with a lower-body injury.
