The quest to end the Canadian Cup drought continues as the Edmonton Oilers, Winnipeg Jets, and Toronto Maple Leafs move on to the second round.

The NHL’s second round is down to two games and possibly three.

The Toronto Maple Leafs forced a Game 7 with a shutout win against the Florida Panthers on Friday night. That game will be played Sunday night in Toronto, with the winner facing the Carolina Hurricanes in the Eastern Conference final.

The No. 1 overall Winnipeg Jets will try to stave off elimination on Saturday with a win in Dallas. They are 0-5 on the road in the playoffs. If they can defeat the Stars, Game 7 would be Monday in Winnipeg.

The winner of the series will host the Edmonton Oilers for the first two games of the Western Conference final.
