After a tough loss on the road, the Dallas Stars look to eliminate the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday and advance to the Western Conference Final.

The Jets seemed to be in dire straits after losing both games in Dallas, facing elimination for just the second time in these playoffs heading into Thursday night’s clash in Manitoba. Thankfully, the capacity crowd saw an MVP-caliber performance from Connor Hellebuyck, as he turned away all 22 shots he faced in Game 5.

His teammates were able to back him up. Mark Scheifele, Nikolaj Ehlers and Vladislav Namestnikov scored huge goals to send the Jets to a 4-0 win, giving the team a chance to fight another day.

However, the Jets have to do something they have yet to do in these playoffs to force a seventh game: win on the road. Now, they have to bunker down and battle to keep their season alive once again.
