The MVU boys’ hockey team shutout Brattleboro. MVU coach Collin Beyor said, “I’m very happy with a complete team effort, from goaltending, defensive structure and offensive possession. Huge shoutouts to Gabe Gates, Cole Renaudette, and Colin Teague for scoring their first varsity goals tonight, as well as freshman Beckett Connelly, making his first varsity start today and getting his first varsity shutout. The emphasis going into today was to utilize our team speed, dominate puck possession, and continue our strong defensive play. We executed well in all phases and earned convincing victory.”

MVU had contributions from Cole Renaudette with a goal and two assists, Colin Teague with two goals, Thomas Gover, Gabe Gates, and Madden Connelly with a goal and an assist, Carter White with one assists, Kaleb Newhall with one goal, Maddux Gagne and Ryan Laroche with one assist each, and Beckett Connelly earned the five save shutout, in his first varsity start and win.
