Can Minnesota extend Quinn Hughes after next year?
Of course the sides can’t officially sign an extension until July 1 2026. since Hughes has next year still to go on his contract….but since Hughes is already on the team there is nothing saying they can’t talk about what that extension could look like….and wow that extension offer could be historic. Rumors are that you the Wild could put the Kaprisov offer of the $17M per season on the table…It would be interesting in a team like NJ would be able to make that work…That is huge number…

Andersson is a veteran Swedish NHL defenseman known for his two-way game, leadership, and reliable top-pairing minutes for the Calgary Flames. He’s been an important contributor both offensively and defensively and has earned respect at the international level with Team Sweden. He is only a $4.55M and this is his last year of his contract. Toronto is getting hit by the injury bug and GM Treliving knows Rasmus very well…The other team I hear is still in this is Washington..The Caps feel they are D-man away and went all in on Quinn Hughes…
