Last season the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, the Abbotsford Canucks are still waiting for their championship rings, from winning the Calder Cup last season, it is on the Canucks ownership to take care of the ring distribution.

Taj on X posted his discontent with the organization, it’s starting to paint the picture as to why the Canucks have failed to stay consistent for a longer period of time. The problem stems from the top, from ownership, to the front office, all the way down to the players.
This organization is something else.
Embarrassing.
This season the Abbotsford Canucks, have been performing as poorly as the Vancouver Canucks. Sitting last in their division, they have had a injury riddled season, similar to their NHL counterpart. The morale definitely isn’t what it was last season, and perhaps getting a ring to remind them of their accomplishments might boost the team a little in the standings.
This lack of care for the players directly correlates to the unhappiness the players have shown as of late. Quinn Hughes was the first to go, and he looks visibly happier in Minnesota with the Wild, Elias Pettersson looks defeated in post game interviews, and if he leaves, the same is likely to occur. The Canucks are no longer a desirable destination for players, and it will be hard to change that reputation, especially if the current owners remain.
