The Blue Jackets acquired Seattle Kraken forward Mason Marchment in exchange for a 2026 fourth-round pick (via the New York Rangers) and a 2027 second-round pick, the team said.
Marchment, 30, has 13 points (four goals, nine assists) in his seventh NHL season. He was previously traded from the Dallas Stars to Seattle in exchange for a 2025 fourth-round pick and a 2026 third-round pick.
Columbus will be Marchment’s fifth NHL team. He has 80 goals and 122 assists in his career.
The Blue Jackets are back on the ice Dec. 20 at 10 p.m. against the Anaheim Ducks.
