— The Detroit Lakes girls hockey team got a much-needed win against Morris/Benson on Friday, Dec. 19.
The Lakers shut out the Storm 9-0, snapping a three-game losing streak and improving to 4-7. It was their second shutout victory and second game scoring nine or more goals.
Detroit Lakes will return to the Kent on Jan. 2, hosting Prairie Centre.
