The Boston Bruins continue welcoming teams from across the board to TD Garden in Boston, and on Saturday, Dec. 20 the Vancouver Canucks make the trip.

This NHL game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on NESN and NHL Network. The Bruins last played on Thursday when they fell to the Edmonton Oilers, 3-1. Pavel Zacha scored Boston’s only goal, tying the score at 1 in the first period, only for the Oilers to tack oin a goal in the second, and then a shorthanded goal early in the third.

The loss moved the Bruins to 20-15-0 on the season and 12-6-0 at home. They will travel to Vancouver early in the new year for the second meeting between these squads, and that might be even more advantageous for Boston, as the Canucks are 10-7-2 on the road and 4-10-1 at home.

Vancouver has won three straight on the road after losing three of four at home prior to this five-game road trip. After Boston the Canucks visit the Philadelphia Flyers. They last played the New York Rangers on Friday in a 4-1 victory. Kiefer Sherwood had a hat trick and David Kampf scored his first goal of the season to open the scoring.
