Caitlin and Nick Suzuki are going to be parents! On Friday, the couple took to social media to announce the happy new in a joint Instagram post.
“Baby girl coming this spring,” the post’s caption read. “The greatest joy of our lives, we can’t wait to meet you.”
The carousel featured three photos, which included a trio of ultrasound pictures and one of the couple sitting on a couch with their dog. In that photo, Caitlin, 25, cradles her baby bump in a formfitting black dress, while Nick, 26, embraces her.
The news prompted excited reactions from fans and fellow NHL wives.
“So beautiful! Can’t wait to meet sweet baby girl!” wrote Jordan Leigh Laine, Patrik Laine’s wife.
“So excited!” wrote Emma Fortin, who is married to Suzuki’s Canadiens teammate Brendan Gallagher.
“Cannot wait to meet you baby S,” wrote Josh Anderson’s wife Paola Anderson. “Stella’s future bestie loading.”
“Congratulations you guys!” echoed Angela Price, who is married to former Canadiens goalie Carey Price.

Caitlin also took to Instagram Stories to share a video montage that included images of a positive pregnancy test several other photos, including a positive pregnancy test, her showing off her baby bump, Nick wearing a “Girl Dad” hat, as well as the couple celebrating.
The announcement comes several months after the couple tied the knot in an intimate beachside wedding in Turks and Caicos. They also held a lavish reception for family and friends back in Montreal afterwards.
Caitlin connected with Nick around 2016 after meeting through mutual friends in London, Ont. The couple got engaged in 2024.
Earlier this year, she opened up about their relationship, saying they’re old souls and “both 85 years old at heart.” She added she’s “very protective” of him, and appreciates how calm and collected he can be.
