The Tampa Bay Lightning are set to play the third game of their four-game homestand tonight against the Carolina Hurricanes.

The Lightning enter the night with three straight losses on the books while the Hurricanes have won five of their last six, with the only loss coming last night against the Florida Panthers in a shootout. Ahead of tonight’s game, head coach Jon Cooper stated that Anthony Cirelli will be in the lineup after leaving the Lightning’s most recent game against the Los Angeles Kings with injury. Nikita Kucherov will be a game-time decision for the second straight game as he deals with an illness.

On the injury front, the Lightning are still without Victor Hedman, Erik Cernak, Emil Lilleberg, and Brandon Hagel. Hagel, who was previously listed as day-to-day, was placed on the injured reserve on Saturday morning.

As for the Hurricanes, star forward Seth Jarvis suffered an injury in overtime against the Panthers. He was tripped by Evan Rodrigues as he drove toward the net. As a result, Jarvis flew into the goal post and immediately left the game with no timeline for his return. Jordan Martinook is also expected to be out of the lineup tonight.

Due to the Hurricanes being on the latter half of a back-to-back and the Lightning having a game-time decision in Kucherov, lines are not available at this time.
