(St. Paul, MN) — The Colorado Avalanche extended their winning streak to five games with a 5-1 win over the Minnesota Wild at Grand Casino Arena. The Avs scored the first three goals of the game and led the rest of the way. Nathan MacKinnon had two goals in the victory, while Cale Makar and Brock Nelson each had a goal and two assists. Colorado is in first place in the Central Division with 59 points. Ryan Hartman scored Minnesota’s only goal. The Wild are in third place in the Central with 49 points.
