The romance series set in the world of hockey has taken the internet by storm, with even hockey podcasts pivoting to discussing each new episode and breaking down the story, while also giving insight on the hockey aspects.
Jacob Tierney‘s latest show, based on Rachel Reid‘s best-selling novel, has also sparked a new interest in the sport of hockey, and the NHL (National Hockey League), the North American professional hockey league (or the MHL in Heated Rivalry), is reacting to the show sparking interest in the sport from viewers.

“There are so many ways to get hooked on hockey and, in the NHL’s 108-year history, this might be the most unique driver for creating new fans,” a rep for the league told THR. “See you all at the rink.”
