The bodies, well, one body at least, have begun hitting the floor in Ontario’s most hockey-mad city, where assistant coach Marc Savard was in charge of a power play that came into Tuesday’s games with a league-low 12 man-advantage goals.
“Obviously, you know, he’s a great guy and it was sad to see him go,” forward William Nylander said. “But I mean, we’ve been struggling. I guess that’s the first step to make a change for the team.”
