The Minnesota Wild announced a trade with the Tampa Bay Lightning, acquiring forward Boris Katchouk in exchange for forward Michael Milne.

Katchouk will report to the Iowa Wild in the American Hockey League.

The 27-year-old has skated in three games with Tampa Bay this season and has tallied 10 points (4-6=10) in 21 games with the Syracuse Crunch, their AHL affiliate, this season.

The 6-foot-2, 212-pound native of Vancouver, British Columbia, has collected 36 points (15-21=36) and 78 penalty minutes in 179 career NHL games with Tampa Bay, Chicago and Ottawa.

The departing Milne was selected by the Wild in the third round of the 2022 NHL draft and appeared in only one NHL game during his tenure on Nov. 16, 2024, against Dallas.

With the Iowa Wild, Wilne tallied 65 points (32-33=65) and 104 penalty minutes in 172 games.
