BREEZY POINT — Kambria Thompson notched four goals and two assists to lead the Northern Lakes Lighting to a 13-0 Section 6-1A victory over Prairie Centre on Tuesday, Dec. 23.
Anya Vertnik and Myah Reuper each tallied two goals for Northern Lakes, with Lilly Logelin, Dana Balmer, Lila Nordby, Natalie Stueven and Calah Corbett also posting goals.
Rebekah Deemer defended one shot on goal for the shutout as the Lightning outshot the Stars 48-1 for the section victory.
Nordby added two assists, as did Jenna Udena, Rayna Hopia and Karlene Haff.
Eva Anderson finished with five assists and Logelin recorded three.
The Lightning, 5-7-1 overall, were scheduled to play at Rock Ridge on Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Detroit Lakes at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, and at Prairie Centre on Tuesday, Jan. 6.
