WMass Boys Hockey Roundup: Minnechaug continues to dominate in win over Grafton

For the second straight game, the Minnechaug boys hockey team put up double-digits on the scoreboard.

The Falcons had another offensive onslaught, beating Grafton 10-2 in an independent contest at the Olympia Ice Center in West Springfield on Monday morning.

Seven different players found the back of the net for Minnechaug. Enzo Hrycay, Ryan Donovan, and Brody Faneuff scored two goals each.

Faneuff, a junior defenseman, has a team-high eight goals on the season.

Dominic Florentino tallied four points thanks to a goal and three assists. The senior leads the team with 13 assists.

Grafton stayed within striking distance in the first period, trailing 4-2 going into the first intermission. The Falcons dominated the rest of the game, outscoring Grafton 6-0 over the final two periods.

Minnechaug continued its domination on the offensive end of the ice. On Saturday, the Falcons crushed Agawam, 15-1.

Sophomore goalie Chase Folli made 15 saves in the win.

Minnechaug improved to 5-1 on the year. The team carries a two-game win-steak into a home game against Amherst on Friday at 4 p.m.
