The Flyers entered Tuesday’s game with a streak on the line. They had not lost back-to-back games in regulation since Nov. 1 and 2. The streak lives on as the Flyers remained resilient.

The Flyers overcame a slow start to secure a 4-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks.

The Canucks opened the game with the first 10 shots on goal, and scored at 3:45. David Kampf scored his second goal of the season from in front.

The Flyers answered back on their second shot of the game. Noah Cates finished off his 10th goal of the season, taking a pass from Matvei Michkov, to even things at one at 12:02.

Through 20 minutes, shots were 10-5 Vancouver.

The Flyers took the lead at 3:40 of the second period. It was Carl Grundstrom scoring for the fourth straight game and getting his seventh goal in the last 11 games to make it 2-1 Flyers.

Late in the period, the Flyers added to the lead. Travis Konecny got his own rebound while falling to score his 12th goal of the season to extend the lead to two.

Through two periods, shots were 24-19 Flyers.

The Canucks cut the lead to one just 1:08 into the third. Drew O’Connor stayed with the play after a Flyers turnover and scored his 10th goal of the season to make it 3-2. But the Flyers answered back just 26 seconds later, as Michkov set up Bobby Brink for his 10th goal of the season.

Owen Tippett scored into an empty net for his 12th goal of the season with 2:41 to play. Vancouver got another goal at 18:16 of the third by Tom Willander, but Christian Dvorak scored into an empty net in the final minute to cap the scoring.

Dan Vladar made 31 saves on 34 shots in the win. Thatcher Demko made 27 saves on 31 shots in the loss.

Brink, Konecny, Cates, Michkov, and Trevor Zegras each had two points. O’Connor and Kampf had two points each for Vancouver.

The Flyers close out the 2025 slate of games on Wednesday night against the Calgary Flames at 9:30 p.m.
