Toronto Marlies forward Zach Solow has signed a one year deal with Adler Mannheim of the DEL, it was announced last week.

Solow, who recently finished his third season in the Toronto Maple Leafs organization, spent the entire year with the Marlies, scoring six goals and adding 13 assists for 19 points in 52 regular season games. With Toronto having made the playoffs, Solow also collected two goals in two games.

Hailing from Naples, Fla., Solow turned pro at the end of the 2020-21 season after four years with Northeastern (NCAA). Across 174 career AHL regular season games with the Marlies, Chicago Wolves and Milwaukee Admirals, Solow put up 24 goals and 35 assists for 59 points.

As Solow make his way across the Atlantic next year, he should be able to become an impact player for Adler Mannheim out of the gates. Capable of making plays with the puck and not hesitating to go to the dirty areas, Solow has the wherewithal to make a difference whenever the steps out onto the ice.
