Add another familiar face that Vegas Golden Knights fans can expect to see taking the ice in Milan next month.
On Friday, it was confirmed that defenseman Noah Hanifin would represent the United States at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games.
Hanifin joins forward Jack Eichel, who was one of the first players selected to the team.
So far this season, Hanifin has produced 14 points in 28 games for the Golden Knights. His average time on ice of 23:36 is second only to Shea Theodore.
Hanifin represented Team USA during last year’s 4 Nations Face-Off, serving as a defensive specialist. His most notable work came in the round robin game against Team Canada, where he was entrusted with shutting down Canadian superstar Connor McDavid. Hanifin was successful in the effort as the Americans won 3-1.
Hanifin joins an ever-growing contingent of Golden Knights heading off to Italy.
Along with Hanifin and Eichel, Mitch Marner, Mark Stone and Theodore will join head coach Bruce Cassidy for Team Canada. Forward Jonas Rondbjerg has already been selected for Team Denmark, while Tomas Hertl is widely projected to be a top forward for Team Czechia.
