USA Hockey announced its men’s ice hockey roster for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics beginning in February.

This year’s roster includes two players returning from the 2022 Olympics (in which the U.S. placed fifth) – Minnesota Wild defenseman Brock Faber and Ottawa Senators defenseman Jake Sanderson – and 23 players who will make their Olympic debut, USA Hockey said in a news release.

Twenty-one of the 25 players on the U.S. Olympic roster also represented Team USA at the 4 Nations Face-Off in February 2025, which the U.S. lost to Canada in the finals, 3-2, in overtime.

In addition to Olympic returnees Faber and Sanderson, the U.S. men’s ice hockey roster for the 2026 Winter Olympics includes:

Matt Boldy (Minnesota Wild) Kyle Connor (Winnipeg Jets), Jack Eichel (Vegas Golden Knights), Jake Guentzel (Tampa Bay Lightning), Noah Hanifin (Golden Knights), Connor Hellebuyck (Jets), brothers Jack Hughes (New Jersey Devils) and Quinn Hughes (Wild), Seth Jones (Florida Panthers), Clayton Keller (Utah Mammoth), Dylan Larkin (Detroit Red Wings), Auston Matthews (Toronto Maple Leafs), Charlie McAvoy (Boston Bruins), J.T. Miller (New York Rangers), Brock Nelson (Colorado Avalanche), Jake Oettinger (Dallas Stars), Jaccob Slavin (Carolina Hurricanes), Jeremy Swayman (Bruins), Tage Thompson (Buffalo Sabres), brothers Brady Tkachuk (Senators) and Matthew Tkachuk (Panthers), Vincent Trocheck (Rangers), and Zach Werenski (Columbus Blue Jackets).

“We’re excited about our team and congratulate everyone named today,” said Bill Guerin, general manager of the U.S. Olympic men’s ice hockey team who also serves as general manager for the NHL’s Wild. “It was incredibly difficult for our management group to get to the final roster and that’s a credit to so many in our country, including all those at the grassroots level who help make our sport so strong. There’s nothing like the Olympics and I know our players and staff will represent our country well and work hard to achieve our ultimate goal.”

Team USA will be coached by Rangers head coach Mike Sullivan.

The U.S. will play its first game at the 2026 Winter Olympics on Feb. 12 against Latvia in the preliminary round, followed by two more preliminary round games against Denmark on Feb. 14 and Germany on Feb. 15.
