Logan Sawyer gave the Friars another quick start as he fired home a power-play goal just 1:52 into the game. John Mustard and Roger McQueen earned the assists after a clean faceoff win.

– The Nanooks evened the game at 1-1 at 15:06 of the first period on a power-play goal from Nathan Rickey.

– Chase Dafoe gave the Nanooks a 2-1 lead at 4:50 of the second period.

– Goaltender Phil Svedeback left the game in the second period, replaced by Jack Parsons.

– Rylan Roersma extended the Alaska lead to 3-1 on the power play.

– Jhett Larson added a third period goal to give the visitors a 4-1 lead.

– Peyton Platter capped the scoring with an empty-net goal and a 5-1 Alaska victory.
