“I mean, I love it here. I want to do nothing more than bring energy and happiness to this fan base in this market. This is where, you know, some of my dreams have come true. And we have a lot of great teammates and great relationships that I’ve built here, and I’m just thankful that the staff is trusting me with opportunities that I was hoping for a couple years ago.” Sherwood said to MacIntyre.
He added, “I don’t know that (contract) side of things; I’m sure it’ll get squared away one way or another. But I just, you know, try to stay in the present and, like I said, just focus on demanding more of myself and bringing it each and every night so that we can give ourselves a chance here at the playoffs.”
