The deal is expected to be in the $5 million+ range, as reported by Anthony Di Marco.
Per a Philly Hockey Now source, the deal is close as the Flyers look to lock up a player who has been a key part of the team’s success this season.
Dvorak is having a career year this season, scoring 9 goals and 25 points in 39 games. He is just 13 points shy of his career-best year, 2019-20, while with the Arizona Coyotes. That season, he also scored a career-high 18 goals, a mark he reached in 70 games.
The center signed a one-year, $5.4 million contract this past July. With the star-studded free agent class of ’26 now depleted, Dvorak has lined himself up for a nice payday.
With the deal not official yet, an update will be given when one is provided.
Update
The deal is officially official. Five years for Christian Dvorak at a $5.15M cap hit.
