Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman won gold at the 2025 IIHF World Championship.
None of the six Bruins players have ever played in the Winter Olympics. Many of them, however, do have international experience.
Jeremy Swayman was the starting goalie for Team USA when it won gold at the 2025 IIHF World Championships last May. It was the Americans’ first gold medal at the tournament in 92 years.
Charlie McAvoy played in the 4 Nations Face-off for Team USA last February but was able to play in the final vs. Canada due to injury.
David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha were teammates on Czechia when it won gold at the 2024 IIHF World Championship.
Elias Lindholm won a World Championship gold in 2017 and bronze in 2025 with Sweden. He also represented his country at the 4 Nations Face-off.
Henri Jokiharju won gold at the 2019 World Championship with Finland and competed at the 4 Nations Face-off.
Locmelis has played quite a bit for Latvia, and he helped them win bronze at the 2023 World Championship.
The last player to win Olympic gold while playing for the Bruins was Patrice Bergeron in 2014 with Canada.
