How locals fared in 2026 NHL Central Scouting’s Midterm Rankings

We’re at the halfway point of the season, which means NHL Central Scouting has released its midterm rankings ahead of the 2026 NHL Draft.

Nine locals made the North American skater rankings. NHL Central Scouting splits up the categories into North American skaters, North American goalies, International skaters and International goalies.

For the midterm rankings, players were ranked in order by round.

A friendly reminder that just because someone was ranked in a certain spot doesn’t mean they will go there. A whole half of a season has still yet to be played, and there are 128 other players ranked among international skaters. It’s competitive.
