The RANGERS (+170) are an intriguing play behind Corbin as moderate underdogs. Warren has been so-so for the Yankees, as there is a huge drop-off in effective starting pitching behind LHPs Fried and Carlos Rodon. He has been so-so, and that’s just not good enough under the bright lights of New York City, especially for the heavy-spending Yankees and their rabid fans.

If you’re a little more on the conservative side, RANGERS +1.5 (-120) isn’t priced out of line. If you want some insurance, taking Texas at this price instead of the moneyline is a decent play.

UNDER 8.5 (-110) is the lean, but go with a half-unit play at most.

The Under has cashed in 4 of the past 5 games for the Yankees, while the Rangers have hit low in 3 of the past 4 outings. The Under is also 7-3-1 across the previous 11 games for Texas. Go low, but proceed with caution, as Warren hasn’t been terribly effective.
