Michigan State holds an overall record of 15-5-0 and 6-4-0 in Big Ten play, but are four points behind Wisconsin and eight points behind Michigan in the Big Ten standings.
Wisconsin enters this series with an overall record of 15-3-2 and a conference record of 8-2-0. The Badgers swept the Spartans earlier this year in a two-game series at Munn Ice Arena.
