Buffalo Sabres forward Josh Dunne will miss more than a month of game action, according to head coach Lindy Ruff.

Ruff did not disclose what kind of injury Dunne is recovering from.

Dunne will likely return after the Olympic break, based on that 4-6-week timetable.

“He is going to be out for a period of time,” Ruff said. “It looks like right now the indications are it’s a 4- to 6-week type of injury.”

Defenseman Michael Kesselring could return to game action this week, Ruff said.

The Sabres will host the Philadelphia Flyers Wednesday. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. at KeyBank Center.
