A pair of Kelowna Rockets goaltenders are catching the eye of NHL teams.

In the NHL Central Scouting midterm rankings, which came out on Monday, Jan. 12, two Rockets were listed on the goaltender lists – Harrison Boettiger, seventh on the North American list and Frantisek Poletin, fifth on the International list.

Both netminders remained on the list, as they were also on the preliminary rankings released last October.

Central Scouting evaluates the top draft-eligible hockey players worldwide ahead of the next NHL Draft.

Boettiger has been the Rockets number one goaltender all season, sporting a 12-6-1-0 record in 21 appearances with a .905 save percentage and a 3.03 goals against average (GAA).

Meanwhile, Poletin, the younger brother of Rockets forward Tomas Poletin, has played in eight games for the U20 Pelicans in the U20 SM-sarja, Finland’s premier junior men’s hockey league. He’s 3-4-0-0 with a .902 save percentages, a 2.02 GAA, and two shutouts.

He also went 1-5-0-0 for Czechia at the U18 World Championships.

It’s unknown when Poletin will join the Rockets.

While grades weren’t given as part of the midterm rankings, both Boettiger and Poletin were given ‘B’ ratings in the October, meaning they are projected second- or third-round picks in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft.

No West Kelowna Warriors made the midterm rankings.
