Since scoring seven times against the rival St. Louis Blues nine days ago, the Chicago Blackhawks have now totaled just six goals in their last four games. They’ve scored only once in three of the past four outings, all of which have resulted in losses.

Even with Connor Bedard back from an illness, the Blackhawks struggled once again at even strength on Thursday night. Their special teams play wasn’t much better, as the Calgary Flames scored both on the power play and while shorthanded at the United Center. That was a difference in a 3-1 loss, which is the second consecutive defeat for the Blackhawks to begin a four-game homestand.

More in the links for the recap and highlights from the Blackhawks’ third loss in their last four games.

Also in Blackhawks news, the rosters for the 2026 AHL All-Star Classic were announced on Thursday, and two IceHogs were selected to represent the hometown team. The BMO Center in Rockford, Illinois, hosts this year’s All-Star Game, which will be held from Feb. 10-11.

Around the league, the Boston Bruins hung Zdeno Chara’s sweater in the TD Garden rafters, Mitch Marner faced his former team for the first time with Vegas, and Jonathan Toews remained red hot ahead of his first trip back to the United Center on Monday.
