Final Thoughts

Buffalo played a strong game, but sometimes the goaltender steals one. Bussi had an excellent game and make some insane saves. Thompson might have nightmares of the 2 on 0 glove save for a while. Carolina is a tough team, particularly at home. Buffalo has not won in Raleigh since 2016. However, they showed they are right there with the top team in the Metro. In the past, Buffalo has looked outmatched in every aspect of the game. This was the kind of game that the intensity ramped up and the Sabres rose to the occasion. It’s certainly not the result you’d hope for, but this team continues to prove their winning streak wasn’t a fluke.
