The girls hockey team hosted Ursuline Academy on Saturday and lost 6-4 in what was a back and forth battle between the two teams with several lead changes throughout the game.
Nantucket was led offensively by eighth grade forward Olivia Shuttleworth, who scored two goals. Meghan Olson scored the first Whaler’s goal and senior captain Alex Wisentaner scored on a blast from the point in Saturday’s matinee matchup.
At the bottom of this post are some photos from the game taken by David Creed and Chris Tran. The girls will be back in action on Sunday, January 25th at 11 a.m. when they host Plymouth South High School.
