The Penguins traded for a defenseman Tuesday, acquiring Ilya Solovyov from the Colorado Avalanche.In exchange, the Pens sent Valtteri Puustinen and a seventh-round draft pick to the Avs.Solovyov, 25, has one goal and two assists in 16 NHL games this season, while splitting time between the Avalanche and the AHL’s Colorado Eagles.
