Pittsburgh native and current New York Ranger Vincent Trocheck named to US Olympic men’s hockey

Current New York Ranger and western Pennsylvania native Vincent Trocheck has been named to the United States Men’s National Ice Hockey team for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan. Trocheck is from Upper St. Clair, just south of Pittsburgh, and was drafted in the third round of the 2011 NHL Draft by the Florida Panthers. He is a two-time NHL All-Star and competed with Team USA in last year’s 4 Nations Face-Off. Trocheck joins Rangers’ teammate J.T. Miller on the Team USA roster at the Olympics. Miller grew up in East Palestine, Ohio, but lived in Corapolis near the Pittsburgh International Airport for a time.
