The Tampa Bay Lightning (31-13-4) defeated the San Jose Sharks (25-21-3) 4-1 on Tuesday night at Benchmark International Arena. The Lightning have won their last two games and now have points in their last 14 contests.

Brandon Hagel had two goals and an assist to lead the way for Tampa Bay. The Sharks scored first, but Hagel’s first goal tied the game 1-1 late in the first period. The Lightning took control with goals from Anthony Cirelli and Jake Guentzel in the second period, before Hagel added an empty netter in the third to make it a 4-1 final score.

The Lightning will next be in action when they travel to Chicago to play the Blackhawks on Friday night. Puck drop from Chicago is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Friday night.
