Both teams were on a roll, but suffered setbacks during their last times on the ice. The Golden Knights suffered a brutal loss to the Philadelphia Flyers, while the Bruins got shelled by the Dallas Stars. As a result, both teams are going to be eager to get back to their winning ways when they hit the ice against one another.

Here is how the Golden Knights can ensure they are the team that collects the two points.

The part that hurt most about the Flyers game was the outcome should have been much different.

Instead, the Golden Knights went one-for-seven on the power play, while the two Flyers goals came by way of backbreaking turnovers. Too many self-inflicted wounds hurt the Golden Knights, and they will have to ensure it does not happen a second time. Expect the team to come in with a business mindset, working on making the right plays in a hostile environment.

It may take a while still for the Golden Knights to get a look at newly-acquired defenseman Rasmus Andersson.

Andersson was unable to play against the Flyers due to the immigration and paperwork process necessary to play for the team. However, it appears the process continues, as the former Calgary Flames was not present at morning skate. With their new star stuck in a holding pattern, the Golden Knights will have to exercise patience and keep rolling with what they have.

The silver lining of the last game was that Mark Stone and Jack Eichel continued their points streaks.

The two forwards have been far and away the best players on the Golden Knights over the last month. Stone is now tied with Eichel for the longest point streaks in franchise history with 12 games, while his teammate is currently on a nine-game run. The Golden Knights are loaded with players who can fill the back of the net, but the soon-to-be Olympians are the tip of the spear for the offense right now.
