SALT LAKE CITY – As the calendar turns to September, hockey season is now officially upon us which means the Utah Mammoth will host their rookie camp next week.

With players returning to town every day, the Mammoth recently revealed their complete rookie camp roster to set the stage ahead of the trainings at the new practice facility.

Rookie camp roster features six former first-round picks

Similar to development camp, rookie camp will feature most of the Mammoth’s top prospects as they continue to showcase their skills.

Rookie Camp will be on September 10 and 11 at the new training facility in Sandy.

Consisting of 27 total players, including 15 forwards and nine defensemen, the roster is headlined by six former first round selections such as Caleb Desnoyers (4th overall, 2025), Tij Iginla (6th overall, 2024), Cole Beaudoin (24th overall, 2024), Dmitri Simashev (6th overall, 2023), Daniil But (12th overall, 2023), and Maveric Lamoureux (29th overall, 2022).

All first-round picks are expected to participate in rookie camp except for Desnoyers who recently underwent successful wrist surgery.

Rookie camp will take place on September 10 and 11 at the new training facility in Sandy.

Defensemen: Artem Duda, Terrell Goldsmith (Injured), Ludvig Lafton, Maveric Lamoureux, Tomas Lavoie, Max Pšenička, Dmitri Simashev, Grayden Strohack (ATO), Veeti Väisänen
Goaltenders: Ivans Kufterins (ATO), Stepan Shurygin (ATO), Ondřej Štěbeták (ATO)

The rookies will then travel to Highlands Ranch, CO to participate in the Rookie Showcase against the Colorado Avalanche and Vegas Golden Knights.

Saturday, Sept. 13: Utah Mammoth vs. Vegas Golden Knights – 3:00 P.M. MT
