The Philadelphia Flyers finally got on the right side of a result on Monday night, snapping a six-game losing streak to start a three-game road trip in Vegas. The win for the Flyers ended a seven-game winning streak for the Golden Knights.
Now the Flyers have their sights set on another seven-game streak. The Utah Mammoth enter Wednesday’s game on a seven-game points streak, featuring six wins. That has helped put them back into a wildcard spot in the Western Conference.
Game time is at 9 p.m.
Travis Konecny scored both goals in Monday’s win in Vegas, bringing his season total to 17 goals. He has 12 goals since the start of December, a span of 22 games.
Dylan Guenther is Utah’s leading goal-scorer with 23 goals. He has two goals and four points in three career games against the Flyers.
Sam Ersson gets the start for the Flyers. Ersson made 24 saves on 25 shots in a win over the Vegas Golden Knights on Monday.
Karel Vejmelka is expected to start for the Mammoth. Vejmelka made 18 saves on 21 shots in a win over Seattle on Saturday. He is on a personal six-game winning streak.
