The Vancouver Canucks have made some big changes to their lineup ahead of Friday night’s game at Rogers Arena against Jack Hughes and the New Jersey Devils.

Tonight, the Vancouver Canucks will look to string together back-to-back wins, something they haven’t done since the middle of December, as they take on the New Jersey Devils, who are 5-5-0 in their last ten games.

“I’m very excited, it was a long time. I can’t wait to be out there with my teammates and finally be on the ice. “I’ve never missed three months in the regular season, so I’m not expecting to come back and fly around on the first shift. I just have to be patient and go shift-by-shift.” Chytil said.

Filip Chytil’s return has caused a bit of a trickle down effect for tonight’s lineup, with David Kampf dropping down to the fourth line after taking on that second line center role at time during the former’s absence.

Meanwhile, Adam Foote has decided to make Max Sasson a healthy scratch for tonight’s contest, as the 25-year-old has seen his ice time drop significantly throughout January, culminating in his second lowest TOI of the season on Wednesday against the Capitals where he skated in 6:56.

Aside from the changes mentioned above, the rest of the lineup looks very much the same from Wednesday’s victory, with Kevin Lankinen set to make his 25th start of the season.
