Players To Watch:
Detroit Red Wings
Patrick Kane suits up in Winnipeg and will look to lift the Red Wings to a big win as they look to get into first place in the Eastern Conference.
Mason Appleton makes his return to Winnipeg and will look to be a sparkplug against the Jets as Detroit is jockeying for a better position in the Eastern Conference standings.
Winnipeg Jets
Josh Morrissey will certainly be hunting to break the Jets’ scoring record by a defenceman tonight. He needs one point to tie Dustin Byfuglien and two to pass, and that’s certainly achievable tonight given Winnipeg’s position in the standings.
Cole Perfetti scored a nifty goal last game against Florida to tie the game when the Jets needed it, and he’ll look to have a similar game tonight against the Red Wings.
